How to Add Multiple Post Thumbnails in WordPress

Many Times we need to add more than one images in featured section of our blog But many of the beginner don’t know but the good news is that it is possible with little bit effort and coding. As you can see the below image.

Above image is the right example, So to do this you need to install Multiple Post Thumbnail Plugin, Now activate the plugin and add the below code to your theme’s function.php file.

new MultiPostThumbnails(array(
‘label’ => ‘Secondary Image’,
‘id’ => ‘secondary-image’,
‘post_type’ => ‘post’
) );

}

Now After doing this you need to add some more little bit codes, where you want to show your second featured image, If you want to show your second featured image just after the first featured image then you have to follow the below steps.

Add this code to your theme’s single.php file

MultiPostThumbnails::the_post_thumbnail(get_post_type(),

Now after completing that you have done everything to add two featured images to your blog, Now your admin panel have two section to add two featured images to your blog.
